These terms apply to CoinDuo: Coin Identifier and its related services, provided by Mavio LLC. These terms cover the iOS app. The separate website Terms of Service cover purchases and analysis on coinduo.app. By using the app, you agree to these terms. Contact [email protected] with questions.
Age and eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use CoinDuo. By using the service, you confirm that you meet this minimum age. If you are under 18, do not use CoinDuo or submit photos for processing.
What CoinDuo provides
CoinDuo helps identify coins from photographs, value supplied coin details and organize a personal collection, including supported batch and list-import features. Start with clear front and back photos of one coin. Additional details or photos may be needed. Identification and price coverage vary by coin, image quality and available evidence.
AI-assisted results can be incomplete or wrong. A value estimate is informational: it is not an offer to buy, a guaranteed selling price, a professional appraisal, an authentication certificate or a professional numerical grade. A metal-value reference does not certify actual metal content or purity. Obtain an independent specialist assessment before relying on a result for a valuable purchase, sale, insurance or other significant decision.
A completed supported identification includes a reference value range in US dollars. An unsupported image, incomplete scan or request for clearer photos is not a completed identification. Estimates can still be inaccurate. Saved estimates reflect their recorded time and assumptions; they do not automatically become live market quotes.
Access and existing records
The app shows the access available for a feature and any applicable conditions before you use or purchase it. Saved records remain separate from new analysis: opening a saved result does not order a new valuation, and a subscription ending does not by itself delete your collection.
App Store purchases, prices and renewal
If a paid feature or subscription is offered, the app and Apple’s confirmation show its price, currency, billing period, access details and any introductory offer for your storefront. Review those details before confirming. This page does not specify a fixed plan, worldwide price or trial entitlement.
Apple handles App Store payments. An auto-renewing subscription continues until cancelled under the conditions Apple shows. Review its renewal or trial deadline and manage it in iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions → CoinDuo. See Apple’s cancellation instructions.
Deleting CoinDuo, its data or its account does not cancel a subscription. Refund requests for App Store purchases are handled through Apple, subject to its process and your statutory rights. See Apple’s refund instructions. We cannot promise approval or issue an Apple refund ourselves.
Use Restore purchases on the purchase screen with the Apple Account used for the original purchase. Restoration verifies purchased access; it does not recreate deleted or unsynced collection data. Access depends on the verified transaction, including its expiry, refund or revocation status.
Apple accounts and recovery
You can use a visitor identity or sign in with Apple through Settings → Account. Keep access to the Apple Account you use. Linking preserves synced visitor and existing account records; it does not create a new purchase or change the status of an existing one. A recovered record keeps its saved estimate; recovery does not order a new valuation. Quantities and other collection edits are separate from subscription access.
Only successfully synced content can be recovered on another device. Before signing out, finish pending scans and sync local changes. Signing out removes the synced local copies and keeps your account. Delete account in Settings → Privacy & Data requests permanent account and content deletion, including removal of Apple sign-in authorization; it does not cancel an App Store subscription.
Your photos and collection
You retain your rights in the photos and original notes you provide. You allow us and our processing providers to use that content as needed to perform the actions you request, such as identification, storage and synchronization, subject to your choices and our Privacy Policy. This permission does not grant a general right to use your photos for AI training or advertising.
Only submit content you are entitled to use. Coin reference information and third-party materials may have separate rights; access in CoinDuo does not give you ownership of those sources. You are responsible for keeping a suitable copy of information important to you. Do not treat an unsynced device record as a verified cloud backup.
Imported lists and optional improvement sharing
Only import material you are entitled to use. Import only stores mapped fields without AI analysis; requesting valuation sends relevant coin details to an AI provider. The original spreadsheet stays on your device. A text-only valuation cannot verify physical condition. Quantities, currency and saved values are handled as explained in the import screen; a collection total is not a guaranteed sale value.
Video analysis on your device, numerical diagnostics and optional full-video sharing are different activities. Sharing a video requires a separate choice and may include human review and AI-assisted labeling of selected frames to improve video import. Declining does not affect identification, scan charges or access to import. The Privacy Policy explains recipients, retention, withdrawal and deletion. Agreeing to these terms alone does not enable sharing or grant a general-purpose AI-training license.
Acceptable use
Do not use CoinDuo for unlawful activity, upload content that infringes another person’s rights, bypass payment or access controls, automate abusive requests, or interfere with the service. Reasonable safeguards may limit misuse or excessive automated activity. We may restrict access when necessary to address such conduct or comply with law; this does not remove any rights you have under applicable consumer law.
Availability and limitations
Cloud scanning requires connectivity and available processing services. Maintenance, network problems, incomplete evidence or provider outages may prevent a result. To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided as available without a guarantee of uninterrupted operation or a particular identification or valuation outcome. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or consumer remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.
App license
The license to the iOS app is governed by Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement, unless a different license is expressly supplied with the app. These service terms supplement that license; they do not replace Apple’s purchase terms or mandatory consumer protections.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms as the service changes. We will update the date and provide additional notice where required. Changes do not retrospectively remove your statutory rights or change a completed purchase without the process required by Apple and applicable law.
